Is Las Vegas In Decline?

What recession ? Yeah right. This whole business of punishing the American people while rewarding the dumb asses in top exec positions has gone way too far. When a city like Las Vegas becomes quiet at 10:00pm on any weekday is a sure sign that something isn't  fucking right !
   The gigantic cranes that once were a sure sign of more jobs, revenue, and future security have now become lonely reminders of the Las Vegas that once existed here. Most new construction on the strip has now been either slowed to a crawl or suspended all together. Foreign investors are allegedly responsible for the halt in construction because of their uneasy outlook of our current financial situation. What the fuck ? We have done nothing wrong yet we suffer every day now.
   Las Vegas used to be the type of place where an enterprising individual could come, hustle loads of quick cash, and get out to have a real life somewhere else. With the state of affairs in Las Vegas now, we are pretty much stuck here.  No one can sell their house and leave because they owe so much more than it's worth and the money is not nearly what it used to be so very few of us can afford to leave. Again, what the fuck ?
   The only thing left to do is look for free popcorn. No really, how are the strippers and escorts in las Vegas surviving ? Do I smell lap dance coupons in the future ?
